Third time is a charm! Last year the opportunity to see and hear the McGill orchestra was cancelled at the last minute due to snow and ice storms. Finally the weather cooperated earlier this month and we were able to enjoy a fabulous concert at Alexander Galt. Here are two of our students thoughts about the presentation:
My favorite instrument was the double bass and my favorite song that they played was the theme from the SIMPSONS. I like it because it made you feel like saying "Play it again and again" to them! I also liked the rhythm of this music.

My favorite instrument was the clarinet and my favorite song was "THE SIMPSONS"! I liked it because it made me feel like getting up on my feet and dance. Another reason I like this song is that it is catchy!

I think it's amazing how music can affect our moods, don't you? There's nothing like fast paced, happy music to get me going when I'm tired!
I was really glad to see this orchestra!
